Get the flash player here: http://www.adobe.com/flashplayer Shalom Centers, Silistra & Lovech In 2006, a grant was obtained which enabled the purchase of a building in Silestra for renovation and development as a Day Center. This building has enabled the local church to reach out to the poor communities in this area, giving vocation training, employment and a hope for the future. In 2008, needs were identified in Lovech and finance has been raised to renovate a large basement room which is being used as a youth centre to counteract existing night clubs and drinking dens. Over 40 young people use this resource each week. There are plans to use this centre to reach out to the despised gypsy underclass.
