With many of our programs, there is often a cross over of 'type', but broadly speaking the following:

ALBANIA 

Home of Hope Resource Center, Elbasan 
7 children in residential care; 5 young people in supported accommodation; 15 young people supported with their families; 60 children in day care and after care; community family support. Outreach to teenagers and their families. Outreach to Roma Gypsy communities.
Child Sponsorship available.
Bethel Day Center, Tirana
Over 30 children in 3 day centers, outreach to Roma Communities.
 
ARMENIA  Education & Feeding Program, Dvin
Over 400 students supported through education in a remote & social deprived area.
BRAZIL Rainbow Farm, Minas Gerais
This project supports 40 abandoned children living in “family type” homes with dedicated carers.
BULGARIA Shalom Centers, Silistra & Lovech
Outreach to poor communities in this area, giving vocation training, employment and a hope for the future. Poor and orphaned children, local gypsy children, outreach to over 60 young people including evening entertainment, coffee center for mothers and children.
    INDIA Good Shepherd Homes, Mumbai & Nasik
CRY obtained substantial Grants in 2007 enabling the setting up of a HIV Medical Clinic in Mumbai, a Residential Children's Home in Nasik and maintains regular contact with the programs. Child Sponsorship available.
ROMANIA Day Center, Brasov 
Over 80 young people living on the streets supported daily and through summer camps, 7 young people living in the night shelter and supported into work, a social canteen reaching out to the poor and disadvantaged in the community.
RUSSIA Day Center, Makhachkala    
Outreach to many young people needing training & skills to divert them from lives of drugs and crime.
THAILAND Refugee School Dormitory and Dental Clinic, Kaichanaburi
This has provided a valuable resource for over 25 Burmese Refugee children living in this area. They have had the opportunity to receive an education & health care which had previously been denied to them by the authorities.
UKRAINE Father’s House, Kiev
20 children supported through CRY sponsorship, all who have been given the chance of a new life away from the streets. Ongoing programs of work with children living on the streets, summer camps & support to State Children’s Institutions like the Kiev School for Blind Children and the Myakovskogo State shelter.

House of the Child, Sevastopol 
Over 90 children, many with disabilities, receive care love & support. This Center is the only resource in the region to cater for such children.

GHANA New Nation School, Accra
Funding to develop this quality school has helped over 120 children to receive a first class education which will enable them to secure a better future for themselves & their communities.
MYANMAR Education and Skills Training Center, Mandalay 
These centers are providing courses for over 1,800 students  from the most excluded backgrounds & communities, giving them opportunities to access IT & English language teaching.
RUSSIA New Way School, Armavir  
Bursaries for 20 children from deprived & socially excluded communities, giving them a high quality education.

CAMBODIA Pregnancy Waiting Houses, Stung Treng & Preah Vihear
These waiting houses & the local midwife support has had a significant impact on infant & maternal mortality rate in the region. There are plans to replicate these houses in other regions & develop a link with a local school in a deprived area.
    INDIA Good Shepherd Homes, Mumbai & Nasik

LESOTHO Health & Community Center, Qholaqhoe 
CRY has supported the development of this vital resource in this one, of the World’s poorest nations. Farming training, health care & skills training for young people will give them the tools to change their community & have a hope for the future.
PHILIPPINES Education/Health Center, Mindoro
Over 50 children receiving education & skills training. Health care service being offered to a very deprived & isolated community.
RUSSIA Drug Rehab Center, Podgornaya   
80% success rate having a huge impact on the local community & many lives being changes from despair hope.
SOUTH AFRICA Think Twice, Cape Town 
This HIV/AIDS health education project is impacting on the lives of tens of thousands of children & young people, helping them to cope with the effects of abuse & keep safe. The programs are also being replicated throughout Africa.
YEMEN Childhood Immunization Program, Abyan 
In a nation where many children do not live to adulthood this program aims to provide health care & immunization programs which will give a hope & a future to many.

ARMENIA  Agricultural Program, Mkchyan
Feeding  hundreds of poor & disadvantaged families through employment & training.
  
ZIMBABWE Foundations for Farming (Formerly 'Farming God's Way'), Harare & Rural 
An agricultural program which is helping families & communities to become self-sufficient.
Cedar Project, Harare & Rural
A local church-based project which supports children & their families who have been bereaved through HIV/AIDS.

 RWANDA

Refugee Camp, Rwanda/Burundi Border 
CRY was able to support medical input to this needy area of Rwanda where many refugees lack basic health care.
